Timing & Auxiliary Belt Changes
VOLVO recommends replacing timing belts every 10 years or just over 100,000 miles. HOWEVER, this is often too late. A snapped timing belt can result in major engine damage, requiring a rebuild or even full engine replacement. We have seen failures occur at mileages of 80,000 miles and above.
We strongly recommend considering replacement from around 70,000 miles or 7 years — whichever comes first.

T8 ERAD Diagnostic & Replacement
T8 vehicles are known to suffer juddering, loss of acceleration and are most likely due to its faulty ERAD system. ERAD system composes of two parts - the ERAD TRANSMISSION and the ERAD MOTOR. It does not necessarily mean that both components are faulty.
