KVM (Keyless Vehicle Module) – Software Transfer & Cloning Service

The KVM (Keyless Vehicle Module) manages all passive entry and passive start functions. It communicates with door handle antennas, the RKE receiver and the Central Electronic Module (CEM) via MS-CAN. It is located behind the right-hand wheel arch liner in the cargo compartment.

Common Fault Symptoms & Fault Codes

  • Keyless entry inoperative – doors do not unlock when hand placed on handle
  • "Key not found" or "Key not in vehicle" message – engine will not start
  • No communication with KVM via VIDA / DICE diagnostic tool
  • Remote key buttons work but passive entry does not
  • ECM-9400 / ECM-9410 – KVM no communication on CAN bus
  • KVM-0100 to KVM-0104 – Antenna circuit faults (internal, cargo, rear bumper, door handles)
  • KVM-0200 – RKE receiver communication fault
  • KVM-0300 – CAN bus communication fault with CEM

⚠️ Important: A second-hand KVM will not recognise the vehicle's remote keys. After our cloning service the replacement unit will work correctly with your existing keys — no dealer visit required.
