DEM (Differential Electronic Module) – Software Transfer Service

This is a software transfer service for Volvo DEMs. We clone all data from your existing DEM onto a donor DEM you supply. The result is a fully programmed, plug and play module ready to fit — no dealer reprogramming required.

What You Need to Send

  • - Your existing DEM
  • - A donor DEM — a good used unit sourced from a scrapyard or supplier

Ensure both units share matching part numbers before sending.

Alternative: Reprogram Your Existing DEM

If you'd rather not source a donor unit, we can also reprogram your existing DEM for your vehicle. Send us your VIN and we will check whether your existing DEM's hardware is compatible with your car. If it is, we reprogram it so the software matches your vehicle — no donor unit required.

⚠️ Important: Part numbers on both DEMs must match before sending. Please label your units clearly — mark one "ORIGINAL" and the other "DONOR" before dispatch to avoid delays.
